DJHD - Braunschweig - August 2009

Mister DJ in Braunschweig? Sounds good, especially since it's only a 5 hours drive from our house! Els, Sofie and Nathalie left early morning, to arrive around noon and to go have a look around at the Bora Beach Club and the Cube 11. Nothing much to see yet, but we were sure it would be a party tonight!

And Mister DJ did not dissapoint! The sound at the Beach Club was bloody horible, but luckily he only had to play there for a little while. We left early to go to Cube 11 and since there was almost no-one there, we got the VIP spot, next to the DJ booth! Mister DJ would only be 1 meter away from us!

The dj that was playing when we arrived was already good, so we really got in the mood for a looooooooooooooong night! Mister DJ prepared and had a look around the club from the booth... Still not sure what his white cellphone was recording, but we are pretty confident we are on it! The roof went off the club when he finally started his set and we have to be honest, sometimes Nathalie just couldn't keep her eyes of Mister DJ (and his hands...GOD!) and just watched him do his DJ-thing... Fascinated by all the buttons and lights!
Mister DJ obviously spotted her fascination at one point and greeted her with a big smile.

The 3 Belgian ladies let loose all night long and were so tired at the end that we felt notious... It was 5 am when we went to bed, but we went to bed as K3: toothpastesmiles, because of an amzing party night and a picture with Howard!

The next day was hard! Very hard! We didn't have much sleep, but had a fun drive home, with a stop for an ice cream in Mister DJ's town of Münster!

What a weekend!

London - Twice!

In July ofcourse we were in London, for The Circus Tour! We got lucky to meet Jason and have our picture with him, Els was also lucky enough to have her picture with Howard! It was the last leg of the tour, which is ofcourse always very sad. It was obvious on the very last show that not only the fans felt sad it was all over again... But we had enjoyed it and will think back with a big smile on our face!

Els left after the tour, Nathalie stayed in London for 2 more days and to her biggest surprise spotted Gary in his car! A perfect ending to a perfect holiday in London!

The second time The Socks went to London was only a few days ago: 20+21st of August. We left our home in the middle of the night, to take an early train to London. We arrived there around 8 am and sat down for breakfast at 8.30 am. Luckily we had just finished our meals, otherwise we would have choked for sure shen all of a sudden Mister Orange was standing next to us!

To make a long story short: Mister Orange showed his glorious self a couple of times to us that day, Mister Barlow was still not home from LA and I blame him our car got clamped! Mister Owen was probably too busy planning his marriage (?!) and didn't show himself and Mister Donald hid well as well...

So we were 2 very lucky fans to have spotted the hot Mister Orange and went home as 2 enthusiastic teenagers, giggling all the time!

We can't wait for our next visit and hope to be that lucky again!
